Warranty returns

New Parts

We offer 90 day warranty on all new goods purchased. Should an item be found to be faulty within this warranty period (subject to Manufacturer’s Warranty), we will endeavour to replace the faulty item and we will only issue a full refund should that item be unavailable.

2nd Hand/Used Parts

We offer a 30 day warranty on all Alternators and Starter Motors.

All electrical parts are tested upon removal from vehicle before being sold and therefore no warranty or returns are offered on these items.

Reconditioned Parts

We offer 6 month or 10,000km warranty (whichever is sooner) on reconditioned gearboxes, transfers, diffs, power steering pumps and boxes. Some exclusions apply. Please contact us.

General Returns

Please ensure you take time to choose goods carefully as we only offer STORE CREDIT for any item returned because of change of mind. We also charge a 15% restocking fee, and do not refund any freight or delivery charges. Refunds will only be issued as store credit in the form of credit voucher and are valid for 3 months from date of issue. Credit voucher must be presented when claiming credit.

Please keep all receipts as no refunds or returns will be issued without a receipt.

Used Engines – 30 Day Limited Warranty

Engine assemblies are understood to consist of a short block and cylinder head(s). Any of the parts on the engine assembly at the time of sale are included for the possible purchaser’s convenience only and are to be used at the purchaser’s option only. These additional parts are not covered under this or any implied or expressed warranty.

Engines are guaranteed against cracked block, cracked head and excessive oil consumption for a period of 30 days from date of purchase. Warranty does not cover any damage due to overheating, or failure to block or cylinder head caused by defective components outside of or not included in a basic long block, this including but not limited to the cooling system and the fuel system.

Warranty does not include engine damage to piston and liners caused by progressive over fuelling of injectors or overheating. Warranty does not include engine accessories including but not limited to the following: wiring, electronic sensors or modules, sending units, glow plugs, fuel pumps, fuel injectors, throttle body, water pump, air compressors, oil coolers, a/c compressors, power steering pumps, turbo charger, inter cooler, fan clutches, flywheels, alternators, starters, distributors, intake manifolds, exhaust manifolds, engine brakes, engine covers or motor mounts.

Additionally, this warranty does not cover fluids, gaskets, seals or other materials used in the installation of the engine. Nor does it cover claims that result from accident, abuse, neglect, alteration, improper maintenance or installation. This warranty does not cover any shipping costs.

This warranty does not cover purchaser’s loss of time, inconvenience, loss of use or down time of vehicle, towing expenses, installation expense, diagnostic expense, commercial loss, rental cars or other consequential damages.

Warranty is void on an engine that has been run hot or run without or lack of lubrication.

In the event of a warranty claim, Queensland Cruisers and Queensland Patrols, reserves the right and sole discretion to repair, replace or refund the purchase price on the original invoice.

Remedy to repair: In the event of a claim for a cracked block, cracked head or excessive oil consumption, Queensland Cruisers and Queensland Patrols will reimburse up to $750.00 labour and $750.00 parts for diesel engines and up to $750.00 total for petrol engines, to an authorized facility to repair engine. All repair estimates and invoices must accompany claim. All repairs must be pre-approved and authorized by Queensland Cruisers and Queensland Patrols, before any repairs are initiated.

Remedy to replace: Queensland Cruisers and Queensland Patrols will replace engine with a like, kind, quality replacement engine at its sole discretion. Customer will be responsible for any and all shipping costs. Customer must return originally purchased engine back to Queensland Cruisers and Queensland Patrols facility. Queensland Cruisers and Queensland Patrols will not pay for materials and parts or labour to exchange engines in vehicle.

Remedy to Refund: Queensland Cruisers and Queensland Patrols will refund the price of the engine stated on original invoice. Refund will exclude shipping charges on the invoice. Engine must be returned to Queensland Cruisers and Queensland Patrols at the cost of the customer.
